Delete your account
You can delete your Valizka account at any time, no reason needed. This page opens without signing in — so you can find it even after the app is gone from your phone.
In case of any discrepancy between this translation and the Ukrainian version, the Ukrainian version prevails.
How to delete it
In the app: profile → “Delete account”. A confirmation appears there, so you can’t trigger it by accident.
Without the app: write to hello@valizka.com from the same address the account is registered to. Otherwise we can’t confirm it’s you — and, more to the point, a stranger could delete your account.
Requests by email are handled within 30 days, usually sooner. From the app, deletion happens immediately.

What stays — and why
Only the financial record of tickets you bought: amount, date, currency and the supplier’s order number. Personal details are stripped from it — the money is all that remains.
Accounting requires us to keep that record, and so does the chargeback window: a bank lets a purchase be disputed long after the flight, and without the record we could neither confirm nor refute the claim. We can’t delete it on request — and we won’t pretend otherwise.
Money
If your card still holds funds for an unfinished booking, we release them before deleting. A hold doesn’t depend on the account and would otherwise expire only after several days.
A ticket you already bought is not cancelled by deleting the account: the flight stands and the money isn’t refunded. If you want the ticket cancelled, do it first — afterwards you’ll have no screen to do it from.
While a ticket is being issued you can’t delete the account. It takes a few minutes, and deleting now would erase the only trace to find that ticket by.
